Sharada Vidya Mandira was established in the year 1998 at Kadugudi, Bengaluru by Sharada Vidya Mandira Trust. Mr. Bhavani Singh L. is the president of the SVM Trust.
The mission of Sharada Vidya Mandira is to achieve excellence in education with the Philosophy − “Education is the prime contributor to the development of self, society and diverse human enterprise”.
The main objective of the school is “To mould the minds of the young and create them a desire to live a full life in the modern society as honourable and worthy citizens of the nation”.

When the world is scaled larger than you are, it is nice to have a special place of your own size. At SVM, we enhance child- center environment which allows growing up experiences and builds confidence and independence in young minds through various activities.
1) Investiture ceremony:
It is a solemn occasion with school choosing the new team of prefects and taking the oath.
2) Sports day:
The event starts traditionally with the lighting of the torch by the School President, the oath is taken by the sports captain and there is a colourful march past by the students of all the houses, followed by sports events.
3) Art, Craft and Science exhibition:
Various forms of art and craft are used to ignite children’s imagination. Children are encouraged to think creatively and express their innovative ideas through art. Science exhibition showcases the models, charts and working models made by the students on certain topics and themes.
4) School day:
The grand event gives an opportunity for students from Nursery to Class X to go on the stage and show their talents in words, songs, dance, skit, mime etc.
Personality development programme
The broad goal of the institution is to mould the students to the academically sound world and to develop an innovative and positive approach. Each individual has a distinct persona that can be developed, polished and refined. At SVM, we take necessary steps to conduct personality development sessions to bring about a positive change in the life of a student and develop his or her own aura or charm.
