Sharada Vidya Mandira School held its prestigious Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2024-2025 on 29th June. This significant event formally inaugurated the newly elected
members of the school council, symbolizing the start of their leadership roles within the institution.

The ceremony commenced with an introduction, followed by a solemn invocatory song that set a reflective tone for the occasion. Mrs. Sushmitha Shetty, an English teacher at the school, addressed the gathering with inspiring remarks on the significance of leadership and the honour of serving as a member of the school council.

The welcome address was delivered by Mrs. Mary Mapy, Vice Principal of the Middle Stage, who extended a warm greeting to the esteemed board members, Principal Mrs. Swetha G, teachers, and students. Following the welcome speech, the ceremonial vesting of responsibilities took place, during which badges were conferred upon the newly elected leaders, symbolizing their new roles and duties.

Head Boy, Master Om Krishna Srivatsava and Assistant Head Boy, Master Shashank K Naik were presented their badges by Mr. Narayan Singh. The Head Girl, Miss Parinitha and Assistant Head Girl, Miss Apsara V Gowda received their badges from Principal Mrs. Swetha G. The ceremony also recognized leaders in various domains including discipline, sports, culture, cleanliness, assembly, and the Newspaper in Education (NIE) program. Additionally, tech prefects, house captains, and monitors were honoured for their forthcoming leadership responsibilities.

The oath-taking ceremony was conducted by Principal Mrs. Swetha G, during which the newly appointed leaders pledged to fulfill their duties with integrity and excellence. The event was concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Chaitra V from the Social Department, who expressed sincere gratitude to the board members, the principal, vice principals, teachers, and students for their support and participation.

The Investiture Ceremony not only marked the commencement of the new academic year but also served as an inspiration for young leaders to embark on their journey with a profound sense of duty and commitment to their school and peers.
