Breathe, Bend, and Beat: Students Celebrate Wellness and Music in Harmony

In a vibrant celebration that blended wellness with rhythm, Sharada Vidya Mandira Senior Secondary School observed International Yoga Day and World Music Day on 21st June 2025, Saturday creating an atmosphere of peace, health, and harmony. The event commenced with a guided meditation session for the entire audience, allowing students and teachers to experience a moment of inner stillness and mindfulness. This was followed by an energizing mass yoga performance, where students performed a series of asanas and pranayama techniques under thesupervision of trained instructors. The session emphasized the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life for both physical and mental well-being.Following the yoga activities, the focus shifted to musical celebrations in honor of World Music Day. The school’s talented students lit up the stage with a variety of musical performances. A special highlight was a flute solo performance by Roopkatha Roy Chowdhury of Grade 7, which mesmerized the audience with its soulful melody. In addition, a group of students delivered semi-classical songs, seamlessly blending traditional ragas with contemporary harmony, leaving the audience captivated.The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, and resounding applause filled the auditorium, marking the day as a celebration of health, harmony, and artistic expression.
