Sharada Vidya Mandira School celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and pride, bringing together students, teachers, and staff in a grand event. The day began with the ceremonial flag hoisting by the school principal and the Management Committee, accompanied by the national anthem, creating an atmosphere of deep patriotism. An impressive Guard of Honour was followed by a vibrant march-past featuring students from grades 5 to 10, symbolizing unity and discipline. The sight of the fluttering tricolor against the clear sky evoked feelings of pride and gratitude among everyone present.

The cultural program was a highlight of the celebration, showcasing India’s rich heritage through an array of captivating performances. Students enthralled the audience with patriotic songs, stirring speeches, and mesmerizing dances, including adorable performances by the UKG and primary students and elegant presentations by high school students. The program concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all contributors.

In a collaborative effort, the students of Sharada Vidya Mandira joined the Government School in Kadugodi for a community procession, strengthening bonds of unity and patriotism. A cultural dance performance by Sharada students at the Government School received widespread appreciation, further highlighting the spirit of the day.
